Tempered semi-tempered glass is glass surface with strong uniform compressive stress and mechanical strength doubled after heating and rapid cooling treatment. The surface compressive stress of tempered glass is above 90MPa, and the surface compressive stress of semi-tempered glass is between 24-69mpa
Toughened glass
Safety: glass is not easy to be broken by impact. After glass is broken, it will become honeycomb like small obtuse particle fragments, which will not cause serious injury to human body.
High strength: the impact strength of tempered glass is 4-5 times higher than float glass of the same thickness
Thermal stability: tempered glass has good thermal stability. Compared with ordinary glass of the same thickness, the thermal shock strength is three times higher, and the range of temperature change can be sustained is 220℃-250℃.
High strength: compared with ordinary glass of the same thickness, the deflection of tempered glass is 3-4 times that of ordinary glass. When tempered glass receives the load, its maximum tensile stress is not located on the surface of glass like ordinary glass, but in the center of the plate of tempered glass.
Semi-tempered glass
Semi-toughened glass is also called reinforced glass or reinforced glass, it and toughened glass surface compressive stress is different, its mechanical strength ordinary annealing glass 1.6 to 2 times, with good thermal stability.
The leveling degree and light transmittance of semi-tempered glass can be more similar to ordinary annealed glass while far better tempered glass.
The products are widely used in glass curtain wall, greenhouse, greenhouse, partition and decoration industries.
